About The Author

Fr. Joe Greene is an Episcopal priest who serves as the rector of the St. John’s Church in Larchmont, NY. He enjoys joining others in seeking community and fellowship through Word and Sacrament in the Church, humbly obeying the call to ordained ministry. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their sons, J.D. and Reyn. They like to spend time at various outdoor activities, attending sporting events, and Fr. Joe is an avid reader.

Fr. Joe is a Georgia native. He holds a B.A. in History from the University of Georgia and an M.Div. from the General Theological Seminary of the Episcopal Church, located in New York City. Before coming to St. John’s, he was the curate at St. Columba’s Episcopal Church in Suwanee, Georgia and rector of the Church of the Redeemer in Greensboro, Georgia.

Among Fr. Joe’s favorite theologians and spiritual writers are Thomas Merton, Richard Rohr, Will Campbell, Walter Brueggemann, and St. John of the Cross. Prayer and scripture study are the way he begins each day.
